Walkie Talkie HRL was created by Mike VE1AC, who has spent more than 3,300 hours hand-coding practical tools for the amateur radio community and building technology around real operators.

Mike built HamRadioList.com from the ground up for hams everywhere. When he is not coding the next useful feature, he is on the air with his Yaesu FT-710 or improving field-ready ideas such as the TrailBlazer portable vertical antenna.

The goal is simple: keep the familiar immediacy of a walkie-talkie while making it useful in a mobile, digital world. Families, friends, students, clubs and teams can use a clear push-to-talk experience without everyone needing a phone plan.
